The Old Sallisaw High School Association has listed 10 names suggested for the new events center.
Association members took over the old middle school cafeteria this week and moved in on Monday. They plan to use the building for meetings, to showcase memorabilia and as an events center for the community.
The list of names has been posted on the association’s Facebook page where members may choose their favorites. The new name will be announced on Sept. 14.
The suggested names are:
Black Diamond Event Center
Black Diamond Hall
Black Diamond Memorial Hall
Black Diamond Snack Shack
Diamond Event Center
Diamond Memories Banquet Hall
Diamond Mine
Diamonds with Memories Event Hall
Tommie Spear Event Center
Memory Park and Event Center
