A 51-year-old Gore man was hospitalized Sunday after crashing his motorcycle northwest of Vian.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported Timothy Graves of Gore was transported by First Flight Air Service to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, and admitted in critical condition with head, internal and external trunk and arm injuries.
The OHP reported Graves was driving a 2016 Yamaha R6 motorcycle east on a county road at a high rate of speed when he passed another vehicle and then laid the motorcycle down to avoid a deer.
The crash occurred at about 10:52 p.m. Sunday on River Road and Moonshine Road, five miles north and three miles west of Vian.
