Chelsee Cato, 31, of Gore drowned Sunday while swimming in a rural pond in Muskogee County.
Cato was reportedly swimming in a pond four miles south of Webbers Falls when she went under and failed to resurface.
Cato's body was recovered in seven feet of water, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Cato was not wearing a flotation device at the time.
The OHP was assisted by the Webbers Falls Fire Dept.
