Amber Luana Small, 25, of Sallisaw, was sentenced to 70 months imprisonment, and four years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The Indictment alleged that on or about Aug. 30, 2016, Small possessed with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance.
The charge arose from an investigation by the District 27 Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
District Judge Ronald A. White of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma in Muskogee presided over the hearing. The defendant will remain in custody pending transportation to the designated federal facility at which the nonparoleable sentence will be served.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy Hammer represented the United States.
