Carl Albert State College (CASC) recently signed new partnerships with two higher education institutions.
Northcentral University in San Diego, Calif., offers online degree programs and has signed a general articulation agreement with CASC. This provides scholarship opportunities plus a 10 percent tuition discount for CASC graduates, faculty, and staff. Northcentral is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission. CASC Vice President of Academics Jason Morrison explained this agreement is beneficial to CASC faculty wishing to pursue additional education as well as CASC graduates.
In addition to the Northcentral signing, a seamless education plan for CASC students completing the associate of arts degree in business administration was signed with Columbia College of Missouri. This allows CASC graduates to pursue a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree in the business administration program online at Columbia. CASC and Columbia signed a general transfer and reverse transfer agreement earlier in the year. In addition, Columbia College has expressed interest in forming more agreements in the future with CASC involving other degree plans.
Morrison said CASC is continually looking for opportunities to form partnerships with colleges and universities in order to offer seamless transitions for CASC students.
