The Sequoyah County Assessor’s Office, and most other Oklahoma assessors’ offices, will be closed this week for the 72nd annual Education Conference in Tulsa.
The Sequoyah County office will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, and will reopen on Friday.
The conference gives assessors and their staffs opportunities for learning and networking. Topics on the agenda include software, a legislative update with 2017 revisions, exemptions, manufactured homes, depreciation issues and leadership.
