The Sequoyah County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution creating the Middleton Family Private Cemetery, as well as several items regarding construction projects in the county, at their weekly meeting Monday.
The commissioners agreed to sign CIRB project resolutions for Webber Creek Bridge replacement and the replacement of an unnamed creek bridge in District 2. The panel also approved a programming resolution for the resurfacing of Bawcom Road in District 3.
In other business, the commissioners voted to allow the Sheriff’s Department to surplus a four-door Taulsen freezer that was in the jail.
