The Oklahoma Department of Transportation Commission met Monday, and among other projects, awarded a $17,577.71 bid for safety improvements at Gans School.
The project will be to place school signs along a half-mile length of State Highway 141, from Seminole Street to the northeast.
The winning bidder was Direct Traffic Control Inc. of Muskogee. The company will have 15 days to complete the project.
