Muldrow is gearing up for its annual Garrison Creek Rough Riders Championship Rodeo, slated for July 20 and 21 at the Garrison Creek Riders Arena, along U.S. 64 east of Muldrow.
Rodeo Announcer Woody Woodruff said all of the traditional rodeo events will be back, including Bareback Bronc Riding, Break-Away Roping, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Cowgirl's Barrel Racing, Ranch Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling and Team Roping. The youngsters always enjoy the Mutton Bustin’ competition as well, Woodruff said.
The rodeo begins at 8 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $8 for adults and children 5 and under are admitted free. For information, contact Larry Ringgold at 918-774-3269.
