Body Found in the Arkansas River has Been Identified

A body found in the Arkansas River on Sept. 11 has been identified as that of a missing Barling man. Jamison Boyster was reported missing by family members on Sept. 9. The body was sighted and reported to authorities by a river boat captain who called the Crawford County Sheriff's Office. The information was then sent to the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office, which sent a patrol boat out to recover the body. Boyster's body was found about five miles downriver from Vache Grasse Park and was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification. By Sally Maxwell, Senior News Director
