Dr. David Furr, of Quest Medical Clinics in Roland and Springdale, Arkansas, has lost his medical and prescription licenses after his arrest on Nov. 19 in Barling, Arkansas, when police found two loaded guns and loose prescription drugs in his vehicle. Charges against Furr were later dropped but the Arkansas Medical Board suspended his license this month and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (OBNDD) asked Furr to give up his prescription license voluntarily this month, which he did. The OBNDD oversees prescription drug licenses to reduce the abuse of prescription drugs. There is currently a sign (pictured above) on the door of Dr. Furr's Roland office stating that he "is on medical leave to be treated for a cyst that was found on his brain."
