Two Vian residents were arrested Jan. 14 and face burglary charges. The Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office investigated a burglary at an East Lake Hills home, north of Vian, and was able to track down the suspects after they attempted to sell a stolen gun in Fort Gibson. Timothy B. Davidson, 28, of Vian, and Heather Lynn Spears, 28, also of Vian, are being held in the Sequoyah County Detention Center in Sallisaw. Both were booked on second-degree burglary and other charges. Both also have holds from police departments in other towns in the county.
Their first appearance in Sequoyah County District Court, Sallisaw, on the burglary charges is expected to be after the district attorney's office files formal charges against the pair. Davidson was arrested at his home north of Vian, and Spears was arrested at another home, the owner of which was not involved. Deputies said Davidson and Spears are alleged to have stolen items worth several thousand dollars, and had some of the items in their possession when arrested, according to the sheriff's office. Both Davidson and Spears have felony records.
