A Roland man is facing a pair of felony charges after he allegedly broke into a vehicle and stole several items.
Daniel Alan Dye, 45, was charged May 13 with third-degree burglary and knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property, court records show.
On April 29, Dye was arrested by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol while driving a gold 2002 Honda. The car was impounded by Wildhorse Towing and stored at the state impound in Muldrow.
On April 30, a Muldrow police officer responded to Wildhorse Towing and discovered that the gate had been removed from the impound area. The gold Honda was gone and four other vehicles had been broken into.
Dye was located when he called police to report several items stolen from his Muldrow motel room.
Dye faces up to five years in prison on the burglary charge and up to five years in the State Penitentiary and/or a fine of up to $500.
