On Friday, May 1 the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Department said goodbye to Investigator Christian Goode.
Goode leaves the sheriff's dept. to take a new position as the new Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent for Cherokee County and will begin work next month.
Goode worked for the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s office for three years as a Deputy and Criminal Investigator.
“I am proud, happy and sad all at the same time. Christian has been a great investigator for us and will be missed," Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane stated,
"It makes me very proud that larger agencies are coming to our sheriff’s office to recruit our people. It’s a tribute to the hard work, integrity and professionalism of our agency," Lane added.
