Effective Monday, May 4, Northeastern Health System - Sequoyah will be lifting certain restrictions for patients and visitors.
The hospital is still sanitizing after every patient and following strict safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and all employees are screened before each shift.
The front of the hospital will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Each patient will be screened and asked to put on a mask and then they can proceed to their outpatient appointment.
Hospital visitors will be allowed in the in-patient area from 2-7 p.m. but will be limited to one (the same) visitor in a 72-hour period. If another family member or friend need to visit they will be allowed in 72 hours after the last visitor. After 4 p.m., visitors will have to be screened at the emergency room entrance.
The entrance at the emergency room door will have a permanent screener and patients entering will be checked. No visitors will be allowed in the emergency room.
If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are showing signs and symptoms, please call (918) 774-1122. Staff members will register patients by phone and triage you in your car.
