Resource providers for Sequoyah County will come together this week to share valuable information about the types of services and resources that are available to county residents.
Slated from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Indian Capital Technology Center’s conference center, 401 E. Houser Blvd., the 2019 Services Fair is hosted by the Sequoyah County Resource Network and will highlight resources available in the county, according to Royce Alverson, with the SCRN.
From senior, veterans and youth services, to substance abuse services and resources for those with disabilities, the fair will be an opportunity for county residents to know where they can go when they need assistance in a certain area.
Alverson said in years past, the free information fair has been held in conjunction with a networking event among resource providers. This year’s Service Fair should be more accommodating for the public to attend.
“We flipped this around this year to allow the public to come during their lunch hour,” Alverson said.
The event is free to the public from noon to 2 p.m.; door prizes will be available. For information, call 918-967-3325.
