Sallisaw police, as the result of a drug-related investigation, arrested four individuals on Nov. 7.
The suspects are Michael Shane Jordan, 30, Tyler Patterson, 27, Victor Patterson, 31, and Sarah Stafford, 24. All four were booked into the Sallisaw jail for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) with intent to distribute, possession of CDS within 1,000 feet of a school (Eastside Elementary School), possession of CDS in the presence of a minor child, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sallisaw Police Chief Terry Franklin said the narcotics search warrant resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia that is commonly associated with the distribution of drugs.
Franklin said, “These are just the latest arrests of people possessing and/or distributing narcotics. In the last 30 days Sallisaw officers have continued the fight against drugs and have arrested over 30 people for drug offenses which resulted in the seizure of over 142 grams of methamphetamine and one methamphetamine lab.”
