A Cookson woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash at about 11:40 a.m. Sunday in Cherokee County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported.
The OHP reported Peachie Barton-Daugherty, 58, was driving west on a county road when her vehicle ran off the road, struck a tree and rolled onto the passenger’s side. Barton-Daugherty was transported to W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah. Her condition was not listed.
The crash occurred on a county road about 14 miles south of Tahlequah and eight miles east. The OHP reported Barton-Daugherty was under the influence of medication, which caused the crash.
