The Muldrow to Mayberry volunteers are seeking Christmas tree sponsors for their first Muldrow to Mayberry Festival of Trees.
The trees will be displayed at the Muldrow City Park for the Muldrow to Mayberry Community Christmas Event on Dec. 17.
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas” is the theme of the festival which begins at 4 p.m. The tree lighting will be at 5:45 p.m.
The festival also includes a showing of the movie “A Christmas Story” at 6 p.m. Other activities include Christmas caroling, carriage rides, a concession, photos and more.
First, second and third place prizes will be awarded for the decorated trees. The organization has published a guide on the tree decorating on their Facebook page.
