Sequoyah County Commissioners, at their regular Monday meeting, proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and were joined by many involved in the event and from the county courthouse. The county commissioners are Ray Watts, District 1, seated on the left, Steve Carter, District 2, in back in hat, and Jim Rogers, District 3, in back on right of U.S. Flag.
