The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma
announced Wednesday that Randall Doyle McGuire, age 39, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma entered a
guilty plea to Possession Of Unregistered Firearm (Destructive Device-Incendiary
Bomb) punishable by not more than 10 years imprisonment, up to a $250,000.00
fine or both.
The Indictment alleges that on or about July 16, 2018 the defendant, did knowingly possess a
destructive device (incendiary bomb) not registered to him in the National
Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.
The charges arose from an investigation by the Sallisaw
Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Steven P. Shreder, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee,
accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation
report.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Dean Burris represented the
United States.
