A Westville woman was injured in a one-car crash at about 12:43 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 59 about five miles north of Stilwell in Adair County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported Dana Wilkie, 64, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse when she ran off the highway to the left, struck a barbed wire fence and a tree before coming to a stop.
The OHP reported Wilkie was transported by Tulsa Life Flight to Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville where she was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal and leg injuries.
The OHP reported the cause of the crash was unsafe speed on a wet roadway.
