The City of Sallisaw will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday to consider appointing a Ward 2 city commissioner.
Jim Hudgens, past Ward 2 commissioner, has taken the post of mayor, leaving the Ward 2 post empty.
Any citizen interested in being appointed to fill the vacancy for Ward 2 commissioner is invited to visit with the council at the special meeting at the Sallisaw Civic Center. Please remember, you must reside within the Ward 2 boundaries.
