Reward Offered for Information about Theft at Gore School

Damages and loss are estimated at about $7,000 due to a break in and theft at Gore School, said Gore School Superintendent Lucky McCrary.

McCrary said someone broke into the school Sunday night and stole four IPads, two computers and two DVR recorders. In addition, the thieves broke through a window in a classroom, then through the ceiling into the principal’s office. The window repairs alone will cost about $400, McCrary said.

The school is offering a $300 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the thieves. An additional $200 is offered for the return of the DVRs if they are in working order.

Anyone who has information about the break in and theft may contact McCrary at 918-315-2528 or lcccrary@gorepublicschools.org, or the Gore Police Department at 918-489-5963.
