Help Needed in Locating Missing Gans Student

***UPDATE: Selena Faith Sharp has been located.

The Sequoyah County Sheriff's Department is asking for help in locating a missing 12-year-old Gans student, Selena Faith Sharp.

Sharp is described as approximately 5'0" tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen getting off of a Gans School bus just west of the Gans store on Highway 64. Sharp was wearing a navy blue shirt with the American flag on it, striped black and white shorts and white and pink tennis shoes.

Sharp reportedly told friends that she was scared to go home because she had gotten in trouble during the day at school. According to Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart, it is believed that Sharp is at a friend's house in the area. "Deputies have checked several locations with negative results," Lockhart stated.

We would like to encourage you to share this story to help with the search for this missing Gans girl.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sharp is asked to call the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Dept. at 918-775-9156.

  1. Scott Sharp is a monster. He is NOT a good person at all, I dont care what he acts like in public. MY CHILDREN are terrified of him. I have faught to keep them home with me. They were ripped away from me over a year ago after summer was over, because I tried to protect them from him. He ONLY has custody because I had no one else to turn to for help when I got injured. MY CHILDREN have been through hell while living with him. I didnt even know about this happening because he wont tell me anything. I dont even know where they live now. He has delivered them to a child molesters house several times. YES THERE IS PROOF. I will always believe Jazmine and Selena over him. He is TERRIFYING!!! I try so hard to be able to see them and talk to them. HE WONT ALLOW IT. Selena even wrote a letter to the judge saying that her "daddy" threatened to hit her with a chair because she was crying.. There has to be someone out there who can help my girls and help fight for them..

    2. OMG!!!!!! My granddaughter, Selena, went missing. She said she was afraid to go home!!! I know these girls are being terrorized and abused at home! They always have been since they were babies! OKLAHOMA DHS Child Welfare, and the Sequoyah County Sheriff and District Attorney are aware of this and have been aware for many years and have done NOTHING! When I read Selena was missing, I thought her dad and step mom had finally killed her! She knows too much about James Nabours...the 'alledged' child rapist! He was charged with rape and the DA dropped the charges after he lawyered up! Please! Please! Please! Call the Sequoyah County DHS and Sheriff and ask them why these children are not being protected and placed in a safe home. They'd be better off in a foster home than with them! We have offered our home! We raised their sister from the age of 2! She is in college now and was the high school mascot last school year. We did well raising her! Please help these beautiful, precious little girls. They love singing old school gospel. They sang at a talent contest at Faith Community Church and sounded like angels! They are precious and deserving of love and nurturing! I fear it is only a matter of time before the girls turn up 'missing' forever! I have not been allowed by their father to talk to or see the girls since November, 3 years ago! Please! I a have cried myself to sleep every nite since I was told about the rapes! What is wrong with this world when the authorities won't protect children???!!! No wonder child abuse is a plague in this county! Pedophiles and child abusers are the true terrorists in America!
