The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported a water-related injury collision occurred at about 1 p.m. Friday on Lake Tenkiller north of State Park Island in Sequoyah County. One man from Oklahoma City was reported injured.
Joseph Haley, 23, was transported by Lifeflight to St. Francis Medical Center in Tulsa where he was treated for a head injury and released, the OHP reported.
The OHP reported Jeffrey Shelly, 52, of Edmond was driving a ski boat and pulling Haley on a wake board. Haley fell off and before he could be retrieved he was hit by a Yamaha personal watercraft driven by Johnny Harvey, 26, of Oklahoma City. Harvey was not injured, the OHP reported.
