Challenge Issued for Golf Scramble

The 12th Annual Cherokee Nation Casino/CASC Scholarship Scramble will be held at Shadow Creek Country Club in Sallisaw on May 16. Funds from this event go to provide Carl Albert State College scholarships to area students.  Registration for the four-person team, 18-hole scramble will be at 8 a.m. and tee-off is at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $50 per person or $200 per team. The cost includes cart, green fees. lunch, beverages and goodie bags. The first place team will win $600, the second place team will get $460 and a wild-card drawing will choose the third place team which will receive $300. Prizes will also be awarded for longest putt, longest drive, closest to the pin, and for holes-in-one on par 3 holes.

George Glenn will be sponsoring a hole at the scramble on May 16 and his team has issued a challenge to all other golfers to come on out and compete-for second place!
