The following events have been planned by Sequoyah County communities and organizations for the Thanksgiving holiday week.
-Vian Baptist Church will be the site of the annual Thanksgiving Community Praise Service at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 24).
-A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday (Nov.25) at The Shed, 100 E. Cherokee, in Sallisaw. The meal is sponsored by KIBOIS Community Action Partnership and Christians Caring for the homeless.
-A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 26) at Bubba’s Dairy Bar in Vian. For information call 918-773-3020.
-A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 26) at the Brushy Community Center, east of Brushy School on 1010 Road.
