Sequoyah County Commissioners cancelled a county burn ban at their meeting Monday.
The burn ban was allowed to expire after fire chiefs in the county voted it be cancelled. Cooler weather and rain also contributed to the cancellation.
The ban was initiated after warm weather, winds and lower humidity contributed to the number of wildfires.
