A Sallisaw man died after a one-vehicle crash Thursday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported. Charles Brooks, 88, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The OHP reported Brooks was driving a 2001 Cadillac south on County Road E 4589 at about 12:18 p.m. Thursday when the car left the road to the right, traveled 100 feet and struck a tree. Brooks was Lifeflighted to the Tulsa hospital and listed in critical condition before his death.
