Sallisaw police served two search warrants, related to illegal drugs, last week.
On Thursday officers executed a narcotics search warrant on a residence on Port Arthur Place.
Police Chief Terry Franklin said, as a result of the search warrant, officers seized a substance believed to be methamphetamine, pills and a handgun.
Ladonna Hamilton (no age given) was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a valid prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 2,000 feet of school, park, or daycare and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
