A Muldrow man was hospitalized Monday after his vehicle rolled at the intersection of old U.S. Highway 64 and County Road S4750, about one and a half miles east of Muldrow.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported Willie L. Ledbetter, 36, was transported by Pafford EMS to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith and admitted in stable condition with head, arm, leg, and internal and external trunk injuries.
The OHP reported Ledbetter was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer east on old U.S. Highway 64 when he ran off the road to the left, overcorrected, and reentered the road. The vehicle then ran off the road to the right and overturned three times. It came to rest on all four wheels in the ditch. Ledbetter was pinned for about 25 minutes before he was freed by the Muldrow Fire Department. The accident occurred at about 4:52 p.m.
The OHP reported Ledbetter was wearing his seat belt and there was an odor of alcohol in the vehicle.
