Three individuals were hospitalized following a two vehicle collision that occurred around noon Friday on U.S Highway 64, two miles west of Sallisaw.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Timmy Colley, 53, of Fort Smith was traveling west while driving a 1986 Peterbuilt Semi-truck. Colley attempted to make a right hand turn onto a county road when he was struck from the rear by a 4-door Honda driven by Tiffany Haning, 39, of Vian.
Haning was taken by Lifeflight to St. John's Hospital in Tulsa where she was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk and leg injuries. Two 14-year-old female passengers in Haning's vehicle were admitted to Sparks Hospital in Ft Smith. Both were listed in stable condition with leg injuries.
Colley was not injured in the accident.
