A man found at the scene where another man was found unconscious was arrested Wednesday for second-degree murder, Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart said Wednesday.
Michael Buster, 23, was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail and is being held without bond.
Lockhart said the victim was Dane Crum, 31. Crum was found unconscious in the garage at a residence on State Highway 82 north of Vian, suffering from trauma injuries to the face and head. He was flown to a Tulsa hospital and listed in critical condition. He died at about 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Lockhart said.
Buster was found at the scene and arrested then for public intoxication.
Lockhart said he could not go into the details of the alleged second-degree murder. He did say it is believed Buster and Crum only met for the first time about an hour before the incident took place.
