Doxie Dashers are needed to do some racing at the Diamond Daze Festival slated for June 5 though 7 at the Sallisaw High School campus. This year's dash is the second annual, and was a great crowd pleaser last year. The human entrants, limited to two, get T-shirts, trophies among other awards, trophies and bragging rights. This year's dash will be held on June 7 so that those from out of town can do their racing all in one day, said Judy Martens, executive vice president of the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce which sponsors Diamond Daze. The entry fee for the dash is only $20 and the entry form and racing rules may be found on the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce website at www.sallisawchamber.com.
