Muldrow police have obtained an arrest warrant and are searching for a suspect believed involved in a shooting during a domestic dispute with his own father.
The suspect, Trent Pedon, 29, is believed to be driving a 1992 white Oldsmobile with Oklahoma license plate IEG-489. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Muldrow Police Chief George Lawson said the shooting occurred at 402 SW Fourth St. in Muldrow. He said Pedon was asleep when his father woke him up Monday afternoon. An argument ensued and Pedon got a .22-caliber pistol, and was outside the house when he fired. He drove around the house and fired again at the back of the house, Lawson said. No one was injured in the shooting.
Lawson said Muldrow officers and sheriff’s deputies searched several areas on Monday night, but were unable to locate Pedon.
Lawson said the arrest warrant for Pedon accuses him of domestic abuse and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Muldrow police department at (918) 427-4431.
