Shoulda Been Blonde is just one of the bands that will be performing
at the Webbers Falls Festival Saturday.
It’s Festival Time, and the Webbers Falls Chamber of Commerce is joining the fun by hosting the Webbers Falls Day Festival on Saturday.
According to the chamber, the festival is a planned yearly event to celebrate the unique community of Webbers Falls with friends, neighbors, and guests. The historic old town with adjacent river park and beach offers a festival venue unmatched for its’ small town appeal.
The day begins with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. at a cost of $5 per plate.
Arts, crafts and food vendors open at 9 a.m. and music begins at the same time. Performers include Riders Ford, Serious Haddy, Timekiller Band and Shoulda Been Blonde.
A tractor pull takes off at 10:30 a.m. A kiddy tractor pull and other children’s activities will also highlight the day.
Lawbreakers and Peacemakers, an Old Wild West Gunfighters performance, will be shooting it out in downtown Webbers Falls throughout the day.
At 3:30 p.m. a drawing for a 20-inch Poulan Pro Push Lawnmower, with a Briggs & Stratton engine, will be held. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The lawnmower was donated by S&S True Value of Gore. A 50/50 drawing for half of all the money raised will also be held at 3:30 p.m.
