A black and white lemur will be one of the animal on exhibit at the Extreme Animals program Thursday at the Sallisaw Civic Center. The program is presented by Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in Sallisaw.
Extreme Animals will present those critters to the youngsters who attend the animal program from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sallisaw Civic Center.
Laura Dobson of Extreme Animals will present the program. She will introduce the animals, answer all questions about the critters, and, if time and audience allows, let the children touch or pet each exhibit.
Dedicated to preserving and conserving, Extreme Animals introduces children to the those that are endangered, hopefully adding to the numbers of those who oppose extinction.
According to Extreme Animals website, “Time is ticking. Extinction is forever. Extreme Animals is dedicated to rescuing, preserving and conserving one of our planet's most precious resources: our wildlife! We believe that love, generosity and dedication on the part of we humans is likely, the only thing that will successfully change the fate of many endangered animals.”
