Vian Man Hurt in One-vehicle Crash

A Vian man was hospitalized Monday morning after crashing his 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck on Interstate 40, about two and a half miles west of Muldrow.

Seth Allen Stewart, 25, told the Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper investigating the crash that he “was sleepy.” The pickup truck ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and caught fire.

Stewart was transported by Pafford EMS to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith and was admitted with leg injuries. He was listed in stable condition.

The crash occurred at about 6:02 a.m. at Mile Marker 317 eastbound.
