In an update to a story we brought you Monday afternoon, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) has released the name of the individual of the victim in a fatality accident. The one-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Highway 141 west of Gans.
According to the OHP report, Bryan Lewis, 53, of Marietta, Georgia was pronounced dead at the scene. Lewis, along with another passenger and a driver, whose names have not been released at this time, were in a 2000 Ford Explorer (above). The vehicle left the south side of State Highway 141, overturned twice and struck a telephone pole before coming to rest. The other passenger in the vehicle suffered arm and trunk internal injuries and according to the report is listed in stable condition. The condition of the driver and the cause of the accident are not known at this time.
Although from Georgia, reports indicate that Lewis had been living in the Gans area.
