Sequoyah County authorities have arrested Robert Howard Dimitt, 57, in relation to an ongoing investigation and "major animal cruelty case." Dimitt was booked on suspicion of animal cruelty.
According to Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart his department is in the process of obtaining "an order to pick up all the horses."
Dimitt is currently in the Sequoyah County Jail. We will bring you more details as this story develops.
