Moad said anyone interested in joining the team is invited to attend. The next volunteer training will be in August.
Moad said, “It will be a good time to see what is going on when we appear at rodeos and parades.”
Moad said the team will be participating in the Garrison Creek Rodeo on July 16, right after the grand entry, and in the Sallisaw Rodeo Parade on Aug. 4, and in the Sallisaw Rodeo entry on Aug. 4, 5 and 6.”
Team members are to bring the horses they be riding in the parades and entries. Members will be wearing their special polo shirts with logos, jeans, and hats and their horses will be decked out in new team saddle blankets.
