Good buys can be found at the City of Sallisaw Surplus Auction May 14 located at the city garage.
Wright-Way Auction Service will be auctioning off surplus city items beginning at 10 a.m.
Cars and trucks will be among the items sold. The list includes a 1990 Dodge pickup truck, with dump bed, a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro, a 1996 Ford Crown Vic car, a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck, a 1991 Ford 150 pickup truck, two 2003 Ford Crown Vic cars, a 985 Ford dump truck, and a 1976 Ford fire pumper truck.
Lawn and garden equipment includes a 52-inch cut zero-turn gas mower and two Stihl weed whackers. A 1989 Case backhoe will also be up for auction along with a gas street saw, numerous dumpsters and an overhead sanitation truck.
Other items of interest are a pulling trailer, 18-inch wheels and tires, 16-inch wheels and tires, numerous other tires, a light bar, hydraulic and air hoses, air and oil filter, a garage door opener assembly, police vehicle wire cages and partitions, floor jacks, an engine stand, a shop vac, a 30-foot aluminum ladder, grease guns and drills, a truck bed tool box and file cabinets.
Fire department items include rotating red lights, a rescue jack system, hoses, a ladder, tarps, a kerosene heater, Igloo mist fans, and many other items.
