A Keota man was killed in a three-car crash Monday about one mile west of Bokoshe, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported.
Glenn Neal Doss, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene by LeFlore County EMS.
The OHP reported Tyson Lee Stroud, 22, of McCurtain was driving a 2014 Dodge pickup truck west on State Highway 31 when he ran off the road to the right, over-corrected to the left, went left of center and hit Doss who was driving a 2008 Ford pickup to the east.
Doss’ truck was then struck by Jessie Nichole Copeman, 20, of LeQuire, driving a 2010 Chrysler 4–door car. The crash pinned Doss in his truck for about an hour before he was freed by the Panama Fire Department with the Hurst Tool.
The crash occurred at about 10:03 a.m.
Stroud was transported by LeFlore County EMS to Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith where he was treated and released. Copeman was transported to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith where she was treated and released.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, the OHP reported.
