A 40-year-0ld Sallisaw man was reported in critical condition at a Tulsa hospital after a wreck Sunday north of Roland.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported Shannon Wann was driving a 1985 Black Hawk dirt bike north on State Highway 101, about 15 miles north of Roland, when he hit a hole and was thrown about 19 feet.
Wann was transported by Med Flight to St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa where he is listed in critical condition with head injuries, according to the OHP.
The crash occurred at about 7:23 p.m. Sunday.
Assisting the OHP were Pafford EMS and the Nicut Fire Department.
