A Canning Workshop and Food Preservation Class will be held at 5 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds.
The workshop will be led by April Cole, FCS/4-H Youth Development agent at the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension service in Sallisaw.
Cole said, “The workshop will teach how to safely preserve your own food and receive information and recipes to keep you busy all winter! If you’re a first timer, or just need a refresher, sign up today. Come ready to learn and have fun!”
To register call the Extension Office at 918-775-4838. A $5 registration fee will be charged to cover supplies.
