State Rep. John Bennett is shown with Faith and Gabriell Cude, who visited the Capitol for 4-H Day, along with Tony Yates, Sequoyah County Agriculture Extension agent. On April 5, 4-H members from across the state visited their representatives at the state Capitol, enjoying lunch and being recognized from the House floor.
“It was a pleasure to meet these young ladies and get to hear their interest in making our state a better place,” said Bennett, R-Sallisaw. “4-H is such a great organization, teaching leadership and good stewardship, exhibited in these young people.”
Bennet also was a 4-H member under the leadership of Tony Yates.
“Tony Yates played an integral part in my success,” Bennett said. “I appreciate his years of dedication to the betterment of our youth.”
Also shown is Sen. Mark Allen.
