Carl Albert State College (CASC) implemented an online payment plan last summer to allow students the opportunity to make payments for tuition, fees and meals online. Beginning this summer, housing expenses can also be included on a payment plan. Using the payment plan call NeInet, students can spread their payments out over several installments instead of having to pay the entire price up front. In addition to students paying with cash, they can now go through NeInet and use a credit card, debit card, or even do direct payments from their checking or savings account.
CASC President Garry M. Ivey said, "We found that students were having a hard time coming up with the full amount for their housing on the front end, so we are excited to offer the payment plan to help out with this payment as well as others."
Ivey continued, "Most Carl Albert students have financial aid assistance and don't need to pay out of pocket, however, we are having all students sign up for NeInet just in case all their expenses aren't covered so they have the payment plan as a safety net if it is necessary."
Students can contact the Enrollment Center at 918-647-1393, or stop by either the Poteau or Sallisaw campuses for assistance. Information is also available at carlalbert.edu.
