County Commissioners Appoint Agents

The Sequoyah County Board of Commissioners approved several appointments at their weekly meeting Monday.

Commissioners approved appointing Julie Haywood and Gary Schaefer as requisitioning agents for the Maple Fire Department. Billy Riggs and Heath Sharp were appointed as the Maple Fire Department’s receiving agents.

Haywood and Larry Armer were appointed as requisitioning agents for the Lee Creek Rural Fire Department and Darrin Johnson and Thomas Ree were appointed as the department’s receiving agents.

In other business, the panel also approved a contract with Candor Building Solutions for interior renovations at the Sequoyah County Health Department.
