Three Arrested in Counterfeit Currency Investigation




Sallisaw Police have arrested three individuals in connection with a counterfeit currency investigation.

After receiving multiple reports of counterfeit currency being passed to local businesses as well as residents, the Sallisaw Police Dept. launched an investigation that led to arrests. 

Officers initially arrested Chris Jackson and Stevie Jones both of whom were found in possession of a large amount of counterfeit currency.

A search warrant was then served and conducted on a residence resulting in the arrest of Judith Jackson. Officers seized printers, laptops, counterfeit currency, and drug paraphernalia.

Any residents and/or businesses that have recently received any counterfeit currency and have not already reported it are asked to contact Det. Lance Yoakum or Det. Blake Brunk at the Sallisaw Police Dept. at 918-775-4141.
